WOW Conference

November 14th and 15th, Light of the World Ballet Company traveled to New Jersey to perform for Paulette Polo's WOW conference. Friday night, we performed Spirit Break Out and God with Us. The people there were so receptive, and there was a really powerful attitude of worship there. It was such a blessing to hear the other guest speakers, singers, and worship leaders brought in for the conference. It was neat to see the unity there - even with people from all over sharing messages, everything fit together in a way only God can pre-ordain. On Saturday morning, we performed Glory Come Down before heading home. Looking forward to seeing what God continues to do in the New Jersey area!

Wampsville Jail

The company and trainees had the wonderful opportunity to perform Ana's Battle, God With Us, and Joy to the World on November 21st at Wampsville Jail. Before leaving for the jail that morning, we spent time in prayer for the ladies at the jail, the people who work there daily, and for each other. Through God's grace, we were able to minister to the women. Crisanna shared her testimony with them, and Miss Ashley presented the gospel as the rest of us were praying. Several precious ladies responded and gave their hearts to Jesus that day. After the performance, we were all excited for the chance to take a picture with them before we left. As we were preparing to leave, one of the guards gave us a note that the sheriff had written, thanking us for coming and sharing the love of Christ with the women. We look forward to visiting again next year, as the sheriff said he hopes to make our performing at the jail an annual occurrence. Praise be to God for His beautiful faithfulness!

Winds of Agape

The company and trainees were so blessed to be able to perform "Ana's Battle" at Winds of Agape Family Center Monday, November 10th. It was a story that really resonated with many of the physically disabled there, as well as the hard working helpers there. They concluded their performance with the dance "Joy to the World", and were then able to share a time of uplifting prayer and talk with the audience. It was a great time to reach out on a personal level to those viewing and really be able to touch them with God's unfailing love. ~Hannah R.

Faith Heritage Holiday House

The performance at Faith Heritage Holiday House was a great experience. The atmosphere was filled with all things Christmas and it was such a joy to be able to be there. The company and trainees performed “Christmas This Year”, “Joy To The World”, and “Noel” and the company performed “God With Us”. It was wonderful to see all of the smiling faces and you could see how much heart the people who worked at this event had. It was so wonderful to be able to see some of the children come up afterwards and learn some dance moves. I believe God really showed His love through the dances performed and reminded all of the people and us how important Christmas really is. 

Healing Rooms Conference

Light of the World Ballet Company had the opportunity to perform for the Healing Rooms Conference last Friday and Saturday. We performed "Song of the Ages" and "Glory Come Down". "Glory Come Down" had been put together rather quickly the week before, and I think we were all praying that our brains/bodies would be able to produce the right steps in the right order! I think it went relatively well :-) It was such a pleasure to be able to dance and join in with the worship that was already happening. The group's deep worship and love for the Lord was overwhelming. It was also a blessing to hear of the work that the Lord has been doing through the Healing Rooms. I pray that He continues the powerful work that is being accomplished through them!

LWB Studio Performance With Mickey Robinson

This past Sunday, Light of the World Ballet Company had the opportunity to dance at the LWB studio as part of an event with Mickey Robinson speaking. After a brief time of worship, LWB presented two pieces - God With Us and Spirit Break Out. Both dances were powerfully received, and they served to open up hearts before Mr. Robinson began to speak. Mr. Robinson gave a short message from 1 Samuel, reminding us to be strengthened in the Lord. He also shared a testimony of his own near death experience. During the course of the service, Mr. Robinson spoke and prayed over several people, encouraging many in their walks with God. A special word was spoken over members of the company. Although the trainees did not perform this time, we and all who attended were encouraged to seek God more diligently. ~Caitlyn 

Cornerstone Family Worship Center

A couple of weeks ago on Sunday, November 17th, we had the opportunity to give a presentation for Cornerstone Family Worship Center. We performed Ana's Battle and after that the Company performed Spirit Break Out. At the End of Spirit Break Out everyone joined in to worship. It was a blessing to be a part of the whole congregation joined together to worship in unity. It was a true reminder of the blessing of the freedom that we have to come together and worship and Praise our Savior! To God be the Glory! ~Anna
