James Square

Light of the World trainees and youth ballet had the privilege of dancing at James Square adult home in downtown Syracuse. The performance was recorded for residents who were unable to come in person. We did the entire Christmas program, excepting God With Us and Here With Us, as the company members did not dance. All the dances went smoothly, and Miss Breanne gave the salvation message. After the performance we had the opportunity to talk to the audience members, many of whom had fascinating stories to tell. Several allowed us to further share the gospel message with them and seemed very open to the Lord. We are thankful for the chance to share God's love with these people. -Caitlyn

Everson Museum Festival of Trees

Sunday, December 14th Light of the World Ballet company, trainees and youth ballet had the opportunity to perform at the Everson Museum for the Festival of the Trees. We enjoyed performing dances from our Christmas Repertoire. It was such a joy to be able to join with the people at the museum in celebrating Christmas. The LORD is so faithful to provide us so many opportunities to perform and share the gift of His love.  ~Anna

A Christmas Celebration!

On December 7th Light of the World Ballet was blessed to perform “A Christmas Celebration” at Believer’s Chapel for an audience of over five hundred people! It was a wonderful time of remembering and rejoicing in Jesus’ birth. The Gospel message was shared and at least six people responded and received God’s gift of salvation! We praise Him and thank Him for coming to earth to seek out His lost sheep!

Winds of Agape Banquet

On Friday December 19th, LWB Company performed at a surprise banquet at Winds of Agape. It was such a pleasure to participate in honoring Pastor Rick and Mrs. LaVerne Torrence, the founders of Winds of Agape Family Center. The room was beautifully decorated and a delicious meal was served. We performed parts of A Christmas Celebration for the fun and energetic audience.  After we danced they had a wonderful time of people singing to show their appreciation for the guests of honor. You could really sense the appreciation everyone had for this couple and it was very evident that they’ve made a huge impact on many lives. We wish them all the best in everything they do and in all the ways they bless the people in our community. ~Kristie

Westcott Community Center

LWB Company, Trainees, and Youth Ballet were so happy to perform this past Friday at Westcott Community Center. There was a great atmosphere between the dancing, the artwork, the energetic faces of the kids, and most importantly the presence of God. There were two powerful messages of the gospel shared, after which four new souls professed Christ. Finally, those watching were invited up onto the stage to be led in some basic dance movement. It was such a blessing to see such an eager group respond so well to the workings of God. ~Hannah R.

ARISE

Friday December 12th the Company and Trainees performed at ARISE. It was the fifth year that we have had the privilege to perform, and we shared our Christmas pieces with them. The audience really seemed to enjoy Marshmallow World with our flying ‘snowballs’. After dancing we got to teach some of them some of the ballet positions and steps. It was so much fun! I hope we get to continue going each year! ~Lydia

Reach Out For Christ

Saturday night December 13th, LWB Company and Trainees performed A Christmas Celebration at Reach Out For Christ Church in Freeville, NY. The performance went really well. LWB has performed at Reach Out for many years and it is always a blessing to the company to go and be a part of God's work there. LWB performed 8 pieces and Trainee Hannah Robinson shared her story of coming to faith in Jesus Christ. LWB was so blessed by the welcoming and hospitable spirit at Reach Out as well as the prayers and blessings spoken by Pastor Tom Miller. We pray God's continued anointing on His ministry among the believers at Reach Out! --Abby
