Bellevue Manor
LWB
Company and Trainees had the opportunity to dance for the residents of Bellevue
Manor nursing home. Despite the frigid temperature outside, many people came to
watch the performance. We performed Follow the North Star and Anna shared her
testimony, connecting the freedom from slavery depicted in the ballet to the
freedom from sin that God offers us. Several of the workers at the nursing home
also came to see us dance. After the performance, we were able to talk to
members of the audience and greatly enjoyed getting to know them a little. They
were all such a blessing to us and we are thankful for the chance we had to
dance and share God's love with them! - Caitlyn

Faith Heritage School
On Wednesday February 11th the company and
trainees performed at Faith Heritage School. It was the first time that the
tour version of Follow the North Star was performed. Follow the North Star is a
historical ballet that tells about Harriet Tubman and how she led slaves to
freedom. It was very exciting to get to share this story with the kids at the
school. They were very attentive to the story and afterwards we got to talk with
several of them. The school is doing a great job with the kids, and we pray
that God continues to bless them and the work they are doing! ~ Lydia

Lighthouse Church of God
Light of the World Ballet had their first performance of the 2015 spring season at Lighthouse Church of God in Mexico, NY. We had so much fun worshipping with our brothers and sisters in Christ before presenting "Ana's Battle", a story ballet about fighting the lies of the enemy with the truth of God and what He says about us! The church was really responsive to the message, especially the part where Ana stands up to the "whisperers", remembering who she is in Christ! It was a blessing for us to be there for the morning service and to get to share this exciting ballet. :) -Jamie
