On November 15th LWB Company, Trainees and Youth Ballet performed at Elderwood Healthcare in Liverpool. The Youth Ballet started us off with “From the Rising” and then the Company and Trainees performed “Ana’s Battle”. Lydia shared her testimony and then the Youth Ballet performed “Carol of the Bells”. To finish we did “Healing is in His Hands” with the residents. We also had the opportunity to talk and pray with the residents after we performed. Miss Ashley told us that a woman gave her life to Christ during this time! Praise the Lord! It was a joy for us to perform and share the love of Jesus at Elderwood and we look forward to future opportunities to perform there again. -Kristie

Holiday House
The Trainees and Light of the World Youth Ballet had the privilege of performing at the Holiday House on November 9th. The event is a fundraiser held annually by Faith Heritage School. The Youth Ballet performed Born for This and From the Rising, and the trainees did Alive. Then we got everyone in the Christmas spirit by performing Carol of the Bells (Youth Ballet) and Light of the Stable (Trainees). Afterwards, we invited children up to the platform where we got to interact with them and teach them a few ballet steps. The audience was very attentive, and it was a great way to get into the holiday mood!

James Square
Light of the World Ballet had our first performance of the year on October 25th at the James Square Adult Home on James Street in Syracuse. We thoroughly enjoyed bringing Ana’s Battle to an audience of attentive seniors. After the performance, we were able to talk and pray with some of the residents. One lady I spoke with told me about her grandson, who is a diplomat to Africa! I got to pray with her for him and his family. It’s amazing to think that by simply performing a ballet and praying with someone afterward that I can reach out to someone in Africa in a small way. Looking forward to our next performance! ~~ Rebecca
