Ed Smith Elementary

Friday, May 23, Light of the World Ballet had the joy of performing at Edward Smith Elementary School here in Syracuse. This was our second time to be back at this wonderful school. It was such a delight to dance "You Are Special" for them! We pray that the staff was refreshed and encouraged and that the kids really grasped the message and its meaning- that each one of them is special and unique. After we danced, we transitioned to the gym where we taught some of the students dance steps and let them be creative during a fun game of freeze dance. They had a blast coming up with different movements to the various selections of instrumental music that were played. As our time closed with the class, we had them say encouraging phrases about themselves as a way of encouraging them in their everyday life and school work. Please continue praying with us for these students and teachers that those who don't know Jesus will come to know Him and be set free from the lies of the enemies! Have a blessed week! Rachel
