Oneida First United Methodist Church

On Sunday March 20, 2016 LWB Company performed at Oneida First United Methodist Church. We’ve performed here in the past and it’s always been a joy to return. Everyone is always so warm and welcoming to us! We had the pleasure of participating in the church’s Palm Sunday service. The church’s choir sang as we danced to three songs, each one worshiping a different quality of Jesus. We also had the pleasure of participating in the banner processional at the end of the service. We love and appreciate everyone at this church and we were so blessed to spend Palm Sunday with them! ~Kristie

Christ Cultivating Community Church Youth Group

On Friday March 4th, Light of the World Ballet Company performed at Christ Cultivating Community Church. The service was for the church's youth ministry, but with the adult helpers. The church was filled with all ages, and made a very warm, friendly audience. We listened to festive Gospel music in the beginning of the service - they have some talented singers! Overall, I loved the joyful spirit of the people there. As we performed The Crown, they were very engaged; laughing at the humorous bits and clapping enthusiastically. Breanne shared her testimony about identity, and we closed with Hail to the King, a worship piece. There was another guest speaker who closed out the service. I'm so glad we were able to be there, the congregation blessed me! ~Cayla

New Jersey Praise Tabernacle Church

Light of the World recently had the privilege of taking a quick tour to New Jersey for a prayer watch. We had the unique opportunity to perform one of our ballets as part of the prayer watch. We danced "The Crown", a story ballet about the free gift of God's righteousness through the sacrifice made by the King of kings, and spent some time in creative and spontaneous worship with the congregation as well. We prayed that this would be a time of spiritual breakthrough for the state of New Jersey as we joined with the local church interceding for statewide situations and needs. The church really inspired and encouraged us with their hunger and passion for God and it was great to come together with them in worship and prayer. I can't wait to see the things our good Father is going to do for and through the state of New Jersey! -Jamie
