Word of Life Kingdom Kids

Light of the World Ballet recently performed Ana’s Battle for the children of Word of Life Assembly of God in Baldwinsville, NY. It is always such a blessing to share with children in honoring our Father. This was the first time I had publicly shared my testimony, and before I finished, I realized I was actually enjoying talking to both the children and the workers. I may never know if any seeds were planted, but I pray that God will use my words to proclaim glory to Himself. As we prayed with the children afterwards, Karissa and I were delighted to discover one little boy come up requesting that he could pray for us! The joy of the Lord was evident in His Spirit as He asked us to pray that our ministry would spread, and that we would be able to take the message of Christ to children around the world. This boy is obviously a young warrior for the Lord, and what a blessing to know that we could perform something that spoke into His life. ~~Rebecca

Palermo Public School

On Thursday, February 7th we performed You Are Special for the students and teachers of Palermo Public School. We had been scrambling at the last minute to add in a dance to do the ballet with more people, and thanks to a lot of living-room rehearsals it went very well! The school nurse was very kind and allowed us to utilize her office as a dressing room. The performance went very smoothly and everyone seemed to enjoy it! Even though we weren't able to share a testimony or the Gospel message, we pray that these precious children will truly understand that God has made them each special and unique for His purposes! God bless! -Ashley

Mexico Elementary School

On February 8th, bright and early, we arrived at Mexico Elementary School to perform You Are Special. It was my first experience performing on a wood stage without our dance floor on top of it. We were excited to be able to spread a little light to so many kids who may have never heard before how unique and special they are. Although we are not allowed to share the gospel in the public schools, we keep praying that the kids will truly understand the message of the ballet. God is doing a marvelous work through the unconventional ministry of Light of the World. Love, Karissa

St. Luke's Hospital

On February 7th, we performed Ana’s Battle at St. Luke’s Hospital in Oswego, NY. In addition to the residents, there were also kids from a small Christian School that came to watch as well. Several of the young boys were very curious about the swords before the performance. Everything went very well. Our audience was most attentive and the story really seemed to resonate with them. I was privileged to be able to share my testimony from the microphone. We finished with Healing is in His Hands and this seemed to be a breakthrough moment. Many people, even the staff were greatly moved and in tears. The Spirit of God was definitely moving in that place. Afterwards we were able to interact with and pray for many of the folks there. The staff is so very kind and they gave us cake and brownies. I pray that the healing begun would continue and that the seeds planted would come into full bloom. Blessings, Abi

Word of Life Christian Academy

Wednesday, January 30th, Light of the World Ballet Company and Trainees performed at Word of Life Christian Academy in Baldwinsville, New York. It was a wonderful time of ministry. We performed Ana’s Battle for the first time this year. That was really exciting! God worked in His wonderful ways and used the ballet to speak to many hearts. After Ana’s Battle, we led the kids and staff in arms motions to “Healing in His Hands” and had fun teaching the kids some dance steps. Joining the kids at an open space in front of the stage, we jumped and danced around to "All My Fountains". I loved seeing the joy in their faces. At the end we had the opportunity to pray with the kids. They are so precious! It was such a blessing to talk and pray with each of them. Some kids said they didn't have any prayer requests, they just wanted to pray for us. These kids are on fire for Jesus. We continue to pray God’s blessings over Word of Life Christian Academy, their staff, volunteers, supporters, parents, and kids. All the glory to God! Have a blessed day- Rachel
